At Buckeye Performance Golf, we understand well the unique training needs of young athletes, and use our in-depth knowledge to offer customized training regimens that take into account all the factors affecting these growing golfers.
Junior athletes have different training needs than adult athletes. As their bodies are growing, there are time frames when it’s important to train for speed, windows when strength should be emphasized, and periods when the junior athlete is primed to learn new motor skills.
Buckeye Performance Golf has extensive experience in training the youth athlete and understands the physical needs of the growing junior. Lindsay’s work with Muirfield Village Golf Club’s junior program earned it the 2012 Golf Digest Junior Program of the year. She has worked with juniors of all ages, starting with preschool and continuing through college, including The Ohio State University golf teams.
Golf fitness is a major part of collegiate golf, and coaches are looking to recruit golfers who can hit the ball far. Our junior golf fitness program trains your child to be an athlete and prepares them for college golf workouts. Strength, power, coordination, and speed are emphasized, all while we remain mindful of their growing bodies and how to maximize their performance at each phase of development. Your junior golfer will love working out with fellow junior golfers who are working toward similar goals!
